The Community Solar Discount is a discount off the upfront cost of a System which is available for a limited time to a Buyer, subject to these terms and conditions (Community Solar Discount Terms and Conditions) and the SolarReturn Supply and Installation Agreement Version 4.1 – May 2017 (SolarReturnTerms and Conditions).
These Community Solar Discount Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with the SolarReturn Terms and Conditions. Capitalised terms in these Community Solar Discount Terms and Conditions have the same meaning as in the SolarReturn Terms and Conditions.
Synergy will offer the Community Solar Discount:
to persons in an Eligible Area specified by Synergy;
who submit an expression of interest during the Promotional Period for a System to be supplied and Installed at the person's premises in the Eligible Area during the Installation Period; and
where at least five (5) such persons in that Eligible Area submit such an expression of interest (the Community Solar Discount).
The Promotional Period commences at 8.00am on 09 August 2017 and ends at 5.00pm on 01 September 2017
At Synergy's absolute discretion, the following suburbs may each be considered to be an 'Eligible Area' for the purposes of the Community Solar Discount: Ajana 6532, Allanooka 6525, Arrowsmith 6525, Beachlands 6530, Beresford 6530, Binnu 6532, Bluff Point 6530, Bonniefield 6525, Bookara 6525, Bootenal 6532, Bringo 6532, Buller 6532, Cape Burney 6532, Dartmoor 6532, Deepdale 6532, Dindiloa 6532, Dongara 6525, Drummond Cove 6532, Durawah 6532, East Chapman 6532, East Nabawa 6532, East Yuna 6532, Ellendale 6532, Eradu 6532, Eradu South 6532, Georgina 6532, Geraldton 6530, Glenfield 6532, Greenough 6532, Hickety 6532, Howatharra 6532, Irwin 6525, Karloo 6530, Kojarena 6532, Mahomets Flats 6530, Meru 6530, Milo 6525, Minnenooka 6532, Moonyoonooka 6532, Moresby 6530, Mount Erin 6532, Mount Hill 6528, Mount Horner 6525, Mount Tarcoola 6530, Nabawa 6532, Nanson 6532, Naraling 6532, Narngulu 6532, Narra Tarra 6532, Nolba 6532, Northern Gully 6532, Oakajee 6532, Port Denison 6525, Rangeway 6530, Rudds Gully 6532, Sandsprings 6532, South Greenough 6528, South Yuna 6532, Spalding 6530, Springfield 6525, Strathalbyn 6530, Sunset Beach 6530, Tarcoola Beach 6530, Tenindewa 6632, Tibradden 6532, Utakarra 6530, Waggrakine 6530, Walkaway 6528, Wandina 6530, Webberton 6530, West Binnu 6532, West End 6530, White Peak 6532, Wicherina 6532, Wonthella 6530, Woorree 6530, Yardarino 6525, Yetna 6532 and Yuna 6532.
The Installation Period is a period of 14 consecutive days nominated by Synergy at its absolute discretion.
If the customer is eligible for a Community Solar Discount, the customer acknowledges and agrees that it will comply with all obligations to provide or procure access for the System to be Installed during the Installation Period. If for any reason, other than due to the fault of Synergy, the System is not able to be Installed during the Installation Period, then Synergy may charge an additional fee to Install the System outside of the Installation Period and the Buyer agrees to pay that fee.
The customer acknowledges and agrees that the Community Solar Discount is able to be offered due to the economies of scale of Installing multiple Systems in an area at the same time. Synergy has no control over the number of persons who purchase a System during the Promotional Period and cannot guarantee the availability of the Community Solar Discount in a particular Eligible Area.
If a customer is eligible for a Community Solar Discount and receives an Offer specifying a Community Solar Discount, the customer must pay the Full Purchase Price by no later than the time specified in the Offer (unless otherwise extended by Synergy in its absolute discretion). If the Full Purchase Price is not paid by this date then the customer will not be eligible for the Community Solar Discount.
In the event of an inconsistency between the SolarReturn Terms and Conditions and these Community Solar Terms and Conditions, these Community Solar Terms and Conditions prevail to the extent to any inconsistency.
These terms and conditions are governed by the law in force in Western Australia.
