Synergy Large Business tariff
Suitable for moderate to high energy users connected at high voltage
Previously known as the M1 regulated tariff
- For moderate to high users of anytime energy connected to the network at high voltage
- 2 simple consumption rates: One for the first 1650 units per day and a lower rate for all units over 1650 units plus a fixed charge
- No fixed term
Effective 1 July 2022. Prices are subject to change from time to time and other fees and charges may also apply. Prices listed include GST unless otherwise stated. By law we calculate our prices to four decimal places.
Eligibility
Eligible business customers will have electricity supplied at a high voltage (e.g. 6.6kV, 11kV, 22kV or 33kV). The premises must also use 50,000 units or more per annum, or 137 units or more on average per day. Businesses must own all equipment, except the metering equipment on the load side of your high voltage terminals. This means you provide the high voltage main switch and transformers.
Organisations that may be eligible for the Large Business tariff are:
- Government departments
- Port authorities
- Heavy machinery producers
- Mining companies
