Synergy Steps Up to Power the 2015 Christmas Pageant

Synergy is de-lighted to announce its sponsorship to power Western Australia’s iconic Christmas Pageant on Saturday December 5, 2015.

Featuring over two thousand local performers, dancers, Channel 7 personalities, and celebrities, the 44th Annual parade promises to entertain and enchant Perth spectators.

Synergy will lead the parade this year, with a first- of- its kind float to be powered by sustainable energy. The clean energy generation will be generated from ten stationary bikes mounted on the Synergy Christmas float. The low resistant bikes will be pedalled by volunteers to create enough energy to power parts of the colourful float.

Synergy CEO, Jason Waters, said the concept of introducing sustainable energy to the RAC Christmas Pageant powered by Synergy this year is an important message for the business as it represents, in a light-hearted way, one of the core foundations of the business.

“Synergy has a proud history in renewable energy in Western Australia and will play an even bigger role in the future as we are committed to being the first choice for energy in the state,” Jason said.

“Synergy is also committed to supporting our community, educating people about energy and identifying innovative ways and new technology to drive energy based solutions.

“I am thrilled that Synergy is able to play a significant part in making this year’s RAC Christmas Pageant powered by Synergy possible excited to be at the forefront of identifying different ways for our customers to use energy in a sustainable way.

In conjunction with supporting the RAC Christmas Pageant, Synergy will be giving three families of four the chance to win tickets to the Christmas Pageant VIP Garden Party. The competition will be run through the Synergy Facebook page in coming weeks. To find out more, please visit facebook.com/SynergyWA.
