The Future Communities Plan will enable you to take advantage of discounted energy rates between 9am - 3pm, providing the ability to save on your energy bill.
Shifting your energy use doesn't have to be difficult. You can start with one simple tip and once you’ve done that, move on to another. We've included some tips below to help you get started.
Pre-cool your home
Set your air conditioner to automatically run between 1-3pm at 24C to cool your home before you arrive.
Wash away peak costs
Pile up your washing to the weekend load session or try to put on a load at lunch time. The same applies if you have a dishwasher too.
Slow cooking feasts
By utilising a slow cooker, you can cook your meals throughout the day ensuring you are making the most of that sunshine!
