Existing Net Feed in Tariff customers

Existing Net Feed in Tariff customers will not be required to take any action and will remain on their applicable subsidy rate of 20c/kWh or 40c/kWh for the remainder of their 10 year contract.

Metering delays

Due to supply constraints driven by a national demand for meters, Western Power has advised that they are experiencing significant delays in the installation of bi-directional meters required for the export of electricity..
Applicants accepted onto the Government’s Net Feed in Tariff Scheme between 19 May 2011 and 30 June 2011 will still be eligible 40 c/kWh Net Feed in Tariff rate in the event Western Power has not installed a bi-directional meter by 30 September 2011.

Applicants should however note that their systems (panels and inverters) must still be installed by 30 September 2011.
