Just like any investment you make at your home, the installation process can take some time. Good news is, we've made the process simple and we handle everything from your initial quote to switching your new system on.
From start to finish, the installation process for your solar system or battery can take up to three months.
This depends on a number of factors including how long it takes to get council and Western Power approvals.
Here's a quick guide to the steps involved in the process.
1. Get a no commitments quote (we'll call you back within 1 business day)
You can take the first step today and request for a quote. We’ll then call you to crunch the numbers and work out a package that is best suited to your unique energy needs.
Get a quote now2. Get connected (this may take up to 30 days for approval)
Once you’ve accepted the quote, we’ll organise for any site visits to firm up design, send your application to Western Power for approval to connect to their network and make sure that your meter is compatible for SolarReturn.
3. Get installed (as fast as possible)
Following Western Power approvals we’ll tee up a convenient time for your system to be installed. If we need a deposit, we’ll send you all the details before the installation. Find out what happens on installation day.
4. Maximise your savings (every day)
As soon as your SolarReturn system is up and running, it's now time to start enjoying the savings from SolarReturn.
Tell me more about DEBS
Great news! If you're eligible, we'll also buy back any excess energy you export back to the grid.
DEBS is available to residential customers who consume not more than 50MWh/a, non-profit organisations and educational institutions that have a small renewable energy system between 500 watts and 5kW. If you're thinking about installing a battery and it has an export limit of 0kW you may also be eligible for DEBS payments. We'll let you know if you're eligible during the connection process.
