Solar Community Fund
Is your organisation working from sun up until sun down to make a difference in WA? It might be time to put the sun to work for you - so you can save money on your electricity bill and invest these savings back in to your community.
That's why we’re helping community groups to discover new ways to save energy – and up to six selected organisations will have a SolarReturn system supplied and installed by us for free. It’s an initiative called our Synergy Community Solar Fund.
In the past two years the Synergy Community Solar Fund has delivered 10 solar systems totalling 200kW of solar to not-for-profit organisations, helping organisations make a big dent in their costs and redirecting valuable savings back into the community.
The 2018 Solar Fund recipients have already saved more than $30,000 on their electricity bills to January 2020. Synergy is looking forward to doing it all again this year, giving away another 50kW of solar in 2020.

Winners will be announced and SolarReturn systems installed.
How our Synergy Community Solar Fund works
Shenton Park Dog Home
It costs a considerable amount to heat and cool the kennels for the lost and abandoned dogs at Shenton Park Dog Home. Shenton Park Dog Home is expected to save $8,500* annually from their new commercial SolarReturn system which will mean more funding for the day-to-day care, medical needs and finding homes for these furry friends.
