Before you start:

  • Before organising a commercial connection, please read the commercial connection information on Western Power’s website
  • For all connections to the distribution network at 33kv or less (approximately $15,000 a year), please first complete the Western Power Design and quotation form
  • For a larger site, where electricity usage is likely to be over $15,000 per year, you can ask us for a quote
  • If you are sub-dividing the land, please read the information on sub-dividing on the Western Power website to make sure the site is prepared for connection.
  • If you need a Three Phase connection, please call Western Power on 13 10 87 to make sure it’s available to your site.
  1. Organise power to the site
Before you install an electricity meter, you’ll need to arrange for power infrastructure to be connected to the block. Apply for power through Western Power, at their website or on 13 10 87.
