WA Gas Networks (WAGN), the owner and operator of the Mid-West and South-West Gas Distribution Systems in Western Australia, has made changes to its gas distribution charges applicable from 1 July 2011.

The Economic Regulation Authority (ERA), as part of its review of WAGN’s gas distribution charges, has released a Revised Access Arrangement which took effect from 12 May 2011. The Revised Access Arrangement sets out the terms and conditions and the approved gas distribution charges applicable from 1 July 2011.

The impact of those changes, together with an increase to the standard fees and charges for a natural gas service, has also commenced on and from 1 July 2011 to applicable Synergy gas customers.
