Perth Solar City

Perth Solar City is an exciting $73.5 million Australian Government initiative designed to help communities rethink the way they produce, use and save energy.

The Perth Solar City is the latest Australian Government Solar City and will be delivered to communities within Perth’s Eastern Region over the next four years.

This includes households within the Town of Bassendean, City of Bayswater, City of Belmont, Shire of Kalamunda, Shire of Mundaring and City of Swan.

In an era of climate change and escalating energy costs, Synergy is committed in the Perth Solar City program to trial new products and technologies such as:

• a time of use energy pricing product
• In Home Display devices
• demand management tools

These tools will help increase participating customers awareness of how, and when, they currently use electricity in their home and how it impacts their bill.

Perth Solar City is excited to offer one lucky household the opportunity to win an eco-makeover to the value of $50,000. The winning householder will benefit from $50,000 worth of improvements. These improvements will not only reduce their energy and water bills but increase the value of their home.

In return the winning householder will be required to host an open house (up to 6 times over a period of 12 months) to allow the community to view the eco-makeover.
