This calculator will help you discover approximately how much money your different appliances cost to run, based on our July 2011 residential A1 tariff. You can also calculate roughly how much greenhouse gas each appliance produces, and get tips to help you save energy in every room.

Don’t forget, your home, appliances and situation are unique, so the information provided by this calculator should be used as a rough guide only. Every person uses appliances differently, and the efficiency of the appliance itself, how and where it is used can all impact how much energy the appliance will use.

Customers who have SmartPower cannot use the calculator for appliances that are used in the SmartPower 'off peak' periods but it may be used for appliances used in the 'peak' rate period.
