Connecting & disconnecting

If you’d like to connect or disconnect your power supply at any time, for any reason, we’ve made it easy for you.

New to Synergy

If you are a new customer to Synergy, to sign-up for the first time, simply fill-in this online form. We would like to say welcome and thanks for choosing us.

Moving home

If you are moving home or have bought an investment property, you may need to connect, disconnect, or both. First, make sure of your exact street address, and both street names if you are on a corner block. Then, choose the option below that describes your situation, and you’ll be taken to an online form.

Demolishing a house

If you intend to demolish a property, you will need to apply to have the existing meter removed. Please complete the Application for removal of service and meter for demolition PDF form.

From 1 July 2011, Synergy has introduced a $340 (incl. GST) fee for all temporary supply removal requests by a customer to Synergy. This fee will be charged in order to recover costs charged to Synergy by Western Power to visit a site and remove a temporary supply following a customer’s request.

 

Before you begin:

If you answer "yes" to any of the following questions, please call us on 13 13 53 to complete your move:

  • Do you have life support equipment?
  • Is your home already disconnected?
  • Have you received notice that your home is about to be disconnected?

To move home online you will need:

  • Your new address
  • A contact telephone number

Before you begin:

  • Do you have life support equipment?
  • Is your home already disconnected?
  • Have you received notice that your home is about to be disconnected?

To disconnect your electricity you will need:

  • Your Synergy account number (This is located on the top left corner of your bill)
  • Your existing address
  • Your future mailing address
  • A contact telephone number

Before you begin:

  • Do you have life support equipment?
  • Is the power at your existing home already disconnected?
  • Have you received notice that your home is about to be disconnected?

To move home online you will need:

  • Your Synergy Account number (This is located on the top left corner of your bill)
  • Your old and new addresses
  • A contact telephone number
