Green Products Overview

EasyGreen is a simple way for you to make a difference to the environment. With EasyGreen you can choose to pay what you can afford - from as little as $10 extra per bill up to $80 (in $10 increments).  Therefore EasyGreen provides you with the certainty of having a set amount attributed to renewable energy for each account.

When you switch to EasyGreen you will still receive a mix of energy types, as it is not practical to install additional power lines to carry EasyGreen to your premises. However we commit the amount of energy you allocate to Easy Green will be sourced from renewable sources.  The benefits to the environment this way are the same as those which would be gained from delivering it directly to your home.EasyGreen is accredited by the National GreenPower Accreditation Program.

The GreenPower logo is your independent guarantee that EasyGreen is  sourced by  Synergy from genuine, government approved renewable energy sources. EasyGreen is sourced only from Australian accredited GreenPower and is available for residential Synergy customers.

Natural Power is energy that is generated from renewable sources. These are sources that cannot be depleted or can be replaced, such as wind. No greenhouse gas is produced from wind generated renewable energy. So you help to reduce the emissions that are contributing to climate change.

Earth Friendly is actually energy generated in the traditional way, but we offset all emissions created in the production of energy by contributing to Greenhouse gas reduction programs.  So in effect Earth Friendly is greenhouse gas emission neutral.   Earth Friendly doesn’t cost the earth, it only costs an extra 1.98 cents per unit. We’ve created a simple online calculator so you can work out how much Earth Friendly will cost you and the positive impact on the environment. All you need to do is to decide what percentage of your energy you would like to be Earth Friendly. You can choose between 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%.

Earth Friendly is certified under the Greenhouse Friendly Program, which guarantees your energy use is offset by the equivalent investment in certified greenhouse gas reduction projects such as methane flaring.  Earth Friendly is the only certified Greenhouse Friendly energy product in WA. To achieve certification, EarthFriendly can only invest in abatement projects that have been rigorously assessed and approved by the Greenhouse Friendly Program. So when you see this logo, you can be sure that the product is making a positive difference to our environment.
