Starlight Children's Foundation

We’re proud to be supporting The Starlight Children’s Foundation, to help their fantastic work and bring a smile to the face of some seriously ill children.

As the largest sponsor of the foundation in WA, we’re the first major sponsor of the Starlight Express Room at Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth. The Starlight Express Room is a special place at the hospital, where kids and their families can escape from the hospital environment, and forget about their troubles.

It’s a bright and colourful, medical-free zone with all sorts of games and distractions. A zany character by the name of Captain Starlight is never too far away, bringing some added fun and mayhem to the room. Mum, dad, brothers and sisters are all welcome to join in the fun.

Our support is not just about financial contribution. The Starlight Children’s Foundation is a cause many of us at Synergy feel very passionately about, so as individuals we leap at the chance to participate in fundraising campaigns. We also support the foundation by getting involved in fund raising events throughout the year. In addition to the Starlight Express Rooms, Starlight’s programs include Starlight Express Vans, Starlight Fun Centres, Starlight Escapes and Starlight Wishgranting.
