Energy efficient building design

As Western Australia's leading energy retailer, we lead by example in best practice sustainable building design. Our corporate head office building features energy efficient technologies and practices to help reduce energy use and impact upon the environment.

The building was recently awarded with a 5 star energy rating from NABERS Energy, the National Australian Built Environment Scheme (NABERS). The scheme, previously known as the Australian Building Greenhouse Rating, benchmarks a building’s greenhouse impact on a scale of one to five, with one star being the most polluting and five stars the least.

The lighting at Synergy is a key feature of our energy efficient practices, with lights in offices and meeting rooms going on ‘sleep mode’ after a period of inactivity. Synergy also has 100% Natural Power and therefore our normalised greenhouse emissions are 0kg, as our energy consumption is offset from renewable energy sources.
