Standard Electricity Agreement

This is our standard agreement that explains in an easy-to-read way, our agreement to acquire energy for you.

Standard Gas Agreement

If you’re a small business customer consuming between 180GJ and 1TJ (or between approximately $4,000 and $22,000 worth) of gas per year, this agreement applies to you.

Vesting Contract and Displacement Mechanism

This document details the Electricity Supply Contract (also known as the Vesting Contract) between Synergy and Verve Energy (the Electricity Generation Corporation) and the Ministerial direction.

The Vesting Contract has been amended four times - on 1 June 2006, on 1 September 2006, on 1 December 2006 and on 19 November 2007. The version here on our website has been consolidated to include these changes.

Supplier Accreditation Instructions

Synergy has introduced Supplier Accreditation to ensure that our potential liability risks are managed, internal processes support "best practice" principles and corporate governance is maintained.
