Starlight Children's Foundation
Synergy helps to brighten the lives of thousands of seriously ill children across Western Australia by sponsoring the Starlight Children’s Foundation. As part of our sponsorship we help to power the Starlight Express Van, which gives seriously ill and hospitalised children in regional and remote areas the chance to meet Captain Starlight, learn some magic, get involved in art and craft, and have heaps of fun.
We also co-host the annual Starlight Night event at Scitech Discovery Centre in West Perth where Starlight Escape children enjoy a fun evening amongst family and friends.
When a child is seriously ill, the everyday joys of childhood often take a backseat to medical treatments and hospital stays. 
Since 1988 Starlight has delivered innovative 'Distractive Therapy Programs' within hospital environments, using fun and entertainment to give sick children a well-deserved break from the stress of their illness.
Starlight’s programs are designed to be an integral part of the total health care of children and include Starlight Express Rooms, Starlight Express Vans, Starlight Fun Centres, Starlight Escapes and Starlight Wishgranting.
The Starlight Children’s Foundation receives no government funding and relies entirely on the support of individuals and corporations.
A number of people at Synergy are also keen to help personally and willingly participate in periodical fundraising campaigns for Starlight.
