Synergy Lights up the Starlight Express Room
Hospitalised children in the Starlight Express Room at Princess Margaret Hospital marvelled at a sea of Christmas lights today, when Synergy launched its sponsorship to become the first major sponsor of the room in WA.

Christmas Lights go green
Synergy today announced the 2008 Channel 7 Christmas Lights Competition, which it sponsored, would be a “green” light competition – although, participants are expected to use a variety of colours in their displays, not just green lights.
Synergy spokesman, Andrew Gaspar, said Synergy would purchase renewable energy certificates equivalent to the energy used by participants in the Christmas Lights Competition.

Synergy assistance to customers affected by Dwellingup fires
Synergy today announced relief measures for customers affected by the Dwellingup fires. Synergy would waive the Account Establishment Fee for customers who have been required to relocate to another dwelling as a result of the Dwellingup fires. In addition, those customers whose houses have been destroyed will not be billed for electricity consumption since their last meter reading.

The Minister for Energy, Hon Francis Logan MLA, officially launched Synergy on Sunday, 2 April in the Synergy Parkland in Kings Park (formerly the Western Power Parkland).
